Dr. Mayra Burguera
Psychologist, Psyd, LMHC

I am a clinical psychologist who works with adults, adolescents, couples, families, and groups on various mental health and wellness issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, stress management, maternal mental health, parenting, and life transitions. My goal is to listen to each client and understand what they want and need to support growth toward greater self-awareness, life satisfaction, and relationship fulfillment. Helping to create a relationship with clients that facilitates change, which includes trust, respect, and confidentiality, is of utmost importance to me.
Despite the severe nature of my work, my clients and I often have a few laughs together. That said, change is what we all seek in therapy. I focus on altering self-destructive ways, gaining perspective, and increasing insight that leads to change, improving the quality of our relationships and lives.

Rivka Wigder

I have always felt that connecting with others is what makes life meaningful, and this perspective translates into my role as a therapist. I strive to provide a warm, non-judgmental, and friendly space that allows people to express and work through their challenges that have impacted and continue to impact them. People come to therapy for many different reasons, including anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed, struggling in relationships, processing trauma, or simply desiring a space to process ongoing life events.

My approach is influenced by psychodynamic theory and I pull tools from various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness approaches. My goal is to help you reach your goals through gaining insight and making meaning together of your history, patterns, and current stressors.

The decision to go to therapy can bring up many different feelings, and taking this first step toward your mental well-being is something to be proud of. Please reach out if you are interested in a consultation to see if we are a good fit.

Yasmine Mattar

My name is Yasmine, and I am currently registered as a Mental Health Counseling Intern with experience working with late teens and adults. As a forever learner, I believe that we as individuals are continuously capable of self-growth, adaptability, and flourishing within our romantic and social relationships.

I approach therapy with the belief that growth, healing, and self-discovery are always possible. My style is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and attuned to the whole person – mind, body, and soul. I often integrate elements from psychodynamic theory, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and somatic practices, depending on what feels most supportive for each individual.

I typically work with both individuals and couples clients looking for support involving relationship and intimacy issues, anxiety, depression, personal growth and wellness, or just looking for a space to process events and grow. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and empowered to flourish.
